Human Resources Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

Collaborate with members of the HR and employee experience team acting as primary point of contact for general HR support, talent acquisition processes, new employee onboarding and benefits enrollment and support. Generate regular payroll cycle reports and participate in the creation of HR reporting and analytics dashboard.  


About The Role:

  • Responsible for ensuring overall compliance with applicable legal requirements
  • Complete employment verifications and other timely reporting requests.
  • Administer new employee enrollments and onboarding experience
  • Create and submit material for payroll processing, maintain up to date information within our HRIS  and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain electronic files of all employee documentation;
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Actively participate in evaluating opportunities to improve workflows and processes 
  • Establish and maintain timely and accurate HR reporting metrics and present in an actionable manner
  • Engage benefit broker and provider representatives accordingly to respond to requests or enrollment issues. 
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of our benefits and wellness programs including enrollments, changes, terminations.
  • Administer and track Leaves of Absence.
  • Work with Legal counsel or others to complete immigration documentation and sponsorship.

About You (other than your general awesomeness!):

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 – 5 years’ relevant HR and/or Operations experience 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Superior communication (written, verbal/presentation) skills, and an ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations
  • A true service orientation and an ability to build trusting relationships across the business
  • Proven ability to work with confidential information
  • Previous project management or process improvement experience
  • Experience working with HR systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel as well as knowledge of various reporting tools and HR Technologies (Namely, JazzHR etc.).
  • Ability to work independently
